Dr. Kristin Rizer, PT, DPT

PT

I enjoy working with orthopedic and neurologic conditions of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. I enjoy helping patients from all populations get back to doing what they love, whether that’s sports or playing with their grandkids.

Why I Became a Physical Therapist:

Physical therapy is such a hands-on profession that meets people where they are and helps them take tangible steps toward healing. I want to be the one who literally walks with someone through that journey, supporting them as they regain strength, mobility, and confidence. I am drawn to the fact that physical therapy allows for more direct contact time with patients than many other healthcare fields, creating space to build meaningful relationships. I also love that our bodies are designed to move, and that empowering people to move better, with less pain, can often be more effective than medicine alone.

Personal Information:

My husband and I live in Ennis, TX and are both Texas natives. We met at church in Lubbock, TX while I was in physical therapy school in 2019 and were married in 2021. Since being married we’ve travelled all over the country for his job and have experienced so many incredible places. I love adventuring to new places and experiencing new things, but I also love staying in and playing board games with friends. My other interests include horseback riding, playing pickleball, going on hikes, camping, and baking.
