Dr. Sebastian Lopez, PT, DPT

PT

I enjoy working with neurological patients such as vestibular or post stroke as well as a variety of orthopedic conditions

Why I Became a Physical Therapist:

I shadowed at a retirement home that had a PT, OT and speech therapist. I loved the idea that we could give patients the tools to return to doing what they love without pain. After my experience there, I shadowed at several other clinics and knew this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I enjoy seeing patients satisfied with their care and returning to doing what they love, because I could not imagine not being able to do what I love because of an injury or pain. I am never content with my learning and hope to continue to grow as a therapist no matter what.

Personal Information:

I met my wife Elizabeth when we were sophomores in high school and got married in 2022. She supported us while I was in PT school and we had our daughter towards the end of my first year. My daughter’s name is Alizae and she is beautiful inside and out. We love to watch movies, try new food, and do fun things around Dallas. I was a student physical therapist at the Corsicana Lotts and I loved my experience so much that I realized this is where I was meant to be.
