Dr. Jordan Hand

PT, DPT

I enjoy working with a variety of orthopedic conditions, mainly those that involve the knees, ankles and hips. I also enjoy the atmosphere that a small town/rural clinic provides.

Why I became a Physical Therapist: My junior year of high school, I tore my ACL playing basketball and had to endure reconstruction surgery and 7 months of physical therapy to try to return to sports for my senior year. My PT was phenomenal and so supportive, she became a role model for how I wanted to conduct my life for others’ well being. So, I ultimately decided that physical therapy was the career path I wanted to pursue.

Profession History:

  • Lott Physical Therapy
  • Baylor Scott and White Inpatient Rehab; Waco, TX
  • Theramax rehabilitation and Sports Physical Therapy; Ardsely, NY

Education: Undergraduate: Bachelor’s in Health Science Studies (pre-physical therapy) with a minor in business administration from Baylor University. Graduate school: Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Mary-Hardin Baylor
