Dr. Ally Mckendree, PT, DPT

PT

I enjoy working with post operative patients and athletes.

Why I Became a Physical Therapist:

I became a PT because as a former athlete I was exposed to multiple injuries while playing which forced me to have to sit out for a portion of time. During rehab I got exposed to the physical therapy world which really intrigued me, and I already had a desire to know more about the human body and how it functions, and it seemed that physical therapy was a good fit for me! Also, my grandmother had to receive home health physical therapy, and I can recall how compassionate and amazing her PT was. I knew I wanted to have a profession that allowed me to show empathy and be a light for someone even in their darkest days.

Profession History:

I started working at Lott Physical Therapy & Fitness Center as an aid in 2021 while pursuing my undergraduate degree. I came back as a student in the Fall of 2025 and have been a PT at Lott since August of 2026.
